Riley and Simba

A sequel but a billion times better than that picture of Riley as a human like last year.

I tried really hard on this, but at the same time got really lazy. At the things I like--hair, skin, and eyes--I tried harder so it turned out better (plus I'm just better at thoes things), but everything is just about as half-assed as usual. HOWEVER. There IS a background!! I'm getting into this background thing! I was going to use a google pic but I started drawing over it and using it as a reference more just for fun and it worked out so it became my background. I'd love any critique you could give me on this, since I'm trying really hard to improve right now. It seems like I've gotten to the point where I actually have to try rather than just naturally soak things up. Dx

If you haven't gotten it already, these cuties are my human renditions of my two Golden Retrievers, Riley and Simba. You can find plenty of pictures in my gallery! Mostly of Simba, since we just got him three weeks ago.

EDIT: Thanks to 's always-helpful advice, Riley's shoulders and neck as well as Simba's neck have improved. :3
